Nuggets' Win Streak Halted at Three

The Denver Nuggets' three-game winning streak came to an end on Thursday night as they fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves 117-90. The Nuggets shot just 30.4% from the field and 19.4% from three-point range, their lowest marks of the playoffs. Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets with 21 points and 12 rebounds, but he was held to just 6-of-18 shooting.

Timberwolves Dominate from Start to Finish

The Timberwolves jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. They led by as many as 20 points in the first half and cruised to the victory. Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 26 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns added 22 points and 11 rebounds. D'Angelo Russell also chipped in with 19 points.

The Nuggets will now look to regroup and bounce back in Game 2 of the series. Game 2 will be played on Saturday night in Denver.
