Marcus Morris Sr Reportedly Agrees To A Deal With Knicks

Marcus Morris Sr. reportedly agrees to a deal with Knicks

The New York Knicks have reportedly agreed to a deal with Marcus Morris Sr., the veteran forward who played for the Philadelphia 76ers last season.

The deal is for one year and $15 million, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. Morris is a 6-foot-8 forward who has played for seven different teams in his 12-year NBA career.

Morris is a versatile player who can play both forward positions. He is a good defender and can also contribute on the offensive end. He averaged 11.3 points and 5.6 rebounds per game last season for the 76ers.

Morris is the Knicks' latest addition to their frontcourt, which already includes Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson, and Obi Toppin.

The Knicks are hoping that Morris can help them improve their defense and toughness. They missed the playoffs last season with a 35-47 record.

Morris is a New York native who played college basketball at the University of Kansas. He was drafted by the Houston Rockets with the 14th overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft.

Morris has also played for the Phoenix Suns, Boston Celtics, Detroit Pistons, and San Antonio Spurs. He has career averages of 11.5 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.

The Knicks are hoping that Morris can help them return to the playoffs for the first time since 2013.
