Heavy Police Presence Expected in Downtown St. Augustine as Police Search for Stabbing Suspect

Officers searching for man who stabbed another man shortly after midnight

The St. Augustine Police Department is searching for a man who stabbed another man shortly after midnight Thursday in downtown St. Augustine.

Police were called to the scene on St. George Street just before 12:30 a.m. and found a 25-year-old man with multiple stab wounds.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the suspect is a black male, approximately 5'10" tall, with a thin build and short hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and jeans.

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect.
